For years, I thought I had anxiety about going to the dentist due to the fact that I always anticipated pain and an unhappy experience. After having a cleaning and repair done by Dr. Shayota, I realized that other dentists were using either outdated methods or were causing unnecessary pain. She also takes the time to talk you through every step of your appointment so you know when to expect a tiny pinch, pressure, etc.
Beyond that, she also does not push extra procedures just to charge you more. She is transparent about what repairs are needed immediately and which can simply be monitored over time.
